  The customer service was excellent. We were greeted when we walked in by the friendly staff. The cashier offered suggestions on drinks since we were not sure what we were in the mood for. She made a good suggestion, we will be coming back again. I've been telling everyone about Cold Press.

  The coffee (and lattes) are usually pretty good, once you actually get them. While the employees are typically very friendly, the service here is on the slower side of things...given the Starbucks that is relatively close in proximity and the soon opening Einstein, I’d imagine they would do a better job to differentiate themselves with top notch service. On many occasions, I have ordered ahead of time, at least 5-10 minutes to arriving, and still waited extended periods of time (10-15) for my latte. Perhaps, this is their business model but it’s very inconvenient and frequently makes me second guess stopping here on my way to work. Hopefully there’s a change here...soon.

  I order ahead almost everytime so i don't have to wait. most of the time they are great and have it ready for me but sometimes they are late with my food. this morning i tried calling ahead an order and no one answered the phone so i order through their app. When i get to the shop to pick up my order they are busy. I arrived when the app said my food would be busy but had to wait to tell them i am picking up and had already paid. Also this caused me to be late and my oatmeal to be cold. I will say the staff is great and very friendly.

  I haven't tried any of the food yet, but it's excellent as a coffee shop. Great location, good atmosphere and seating options, and much better espresso and cappuccino than Starbucks. Nice place to work.

  At first glance, this coffee shop feels pretentious. You walk in and the menu is overwhelming. And the person at the register expects you to already know what you want. My friend ordered an ice coffee and was directed to get a canned one from the fridge... Once you sit down (and look past the wobbly tables) with you're drink and you're food, it is a great experience. They offer an array of things that I wouldn't be able to find anywhere in Virginia Beach. I have been here on two occasions. I recommend the bagels and the matcha waffles. If you are lactose intolerant, I suggest you try their pistachio milk in your drink. The prices are a little high for my liking so I go here when I want to treat myself. I give 5 stars to the food and beverages and 3 stars to the service and the fact that I had to fight not to spill my drink because my table was unstable. So I gave it a total of 4 stars.
